Jill K.

MS, PT

Jill graduated, magna cum laude, with a degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2000. Since then, she has practiced physical therapy on Long Island, in New York City, and Columbus, OH. In addition to providing specialized therapeutic care, her roles included managing a sports rehabilitation clinic, implementing an osteoporosis prevention program for high risk patients, and performing aquatic therapy. She also had the opportunity to instruct and mentor Physical Therapy students.

Her extensive background in orthopedic manual therapy and her hands-on approach, combined with functional exercise, provides for a well-rounded, individualized course of care. Jill’s priority at Back to Health is to match her patients’ goals with the best available medical evidence and her clinical expertise to develop an effective treatment plan. She works to alleviate symptoms and improve function for patients through manual therapy and exercise interventions. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Jill consistently attends courses to further develop her skills in geriatric rehabilitation. Jill is continually inspired by her patients, and loves listening to their stories, making connections with their lives, and helping achieve greater independence.

Outside of work, Jill loves spending time with her two teenage daughters, as well as her two rescue dogs. She enjoys working out, going on adventures, and volunteering at her daughters’ schools. She has also recently taken up crocheting and encourages her patients to give her lessons to improve her skills.
