Jane attended Ithaca College and obtained a B.S. in Clinical Science with a minor in Dance in 2001. She completed her Masters in Science in 2002 from Ithaca College. Jane worked in out-patient orthopedics for several years treating a variety of patients with orthopedic injuries. She then decided to return to graduate school to pursue her doctorate in Physical Therapy and in 2010 completed her Clinical Doctorate degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Jane then decided to further her education in orthopedics by becoming Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2013. After working many years in out-patient orthopedics, she decided to transition to the home care setting where she can really develop a nice rapport with patients and utilize their home environment to develop creative and fun exercises to restore their functional independence, and most importantly, their quality of life.

Jane’s interest in physical therapy began when she was in high school. She sustained a dance injury and became a physical therapy patient. Her physical therapist was not only treating her physically but mentally, as she encouraged her to return to dancing competitively. The therapist incorporated unique exercises utilizing Jane’s dance background and Jane knew from that experience that she wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy.

In her spare time, Jane can be found in the mountains either hiking with her fur babies, mountain biking up a mountain, and skiing down one. If she is not outdoors, you’ll find her in a dance studio taking ballet classes and going into NYC to indulge in the performing arts.
