Rachel R.

PT

Rachel attended Queens College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2016. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020 from Hunter College. She began her career in outpatient orthopedics treating patients of all ages with a variety of injuries and surgeries. She transitioned into the home care setting because of her desire to develop a rapport with patients by working with the one on one and giving each patient her undivided attention. Rachel is motivated to work with geriatric patients in their homes to help restore functional mobility and improve their quality of life in a familiar setting.

As an active athlete from a young age, Rachel was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy. Her own chronic knee problems sparked a curiosity in anatomy. She had a great mentor in her family who pushed her to shadow in a physical therapy office during high school, and continuing on as an aide in outpatient offices throughout college.

In her free time, Rachel loves to work out and take walks with her husband and baby. She loves taking spin classes, catching up on television shows, and visiting her family on Long Island.
